CVAC is pleased to present Ask the Experts webinar series. The Canadian Virtual Assistant connection (CVAC ) is Canada’s foremost organization uniting Canadian Virtual Assistants and the world. We provide a venue for VAs to network, share knowledge and skills, plan events and obtain valuable support from other VAs in various stages of business development.

The first Ask the Experts webinar will delve into whatever you would like ask about the VA business from our experts. If you have questions about your VA business this is the forum to get your answers.

Join us for an awe inspiring session of Ask the Experts featuring CVAC’s founders Elayne Whitfield-Parr and Janice Byer, authors of How to Build a Successful Virtual Assistant Business (www.va-book.com)! This will be an open forum.

Elayne Whitfield-Parr began Executive Assistance (www.executive-assistance.ca/) when, after some research, she discovered the emerging industry of the Virtual Assistant. She began offering a variety of basic administrative services and then in her second year she began offering website design and hosting. Her gross profit has doubled each year since then and she now has a full-time VA herself as well as an affiliation with a Certified General Accountant (CGA) making it possible for her to offer bookkeeping in addition to her other services. Elayne is a Certified Canadian Virtual Assistant (CCVA), a certified Master Virtual Assistant (MVA), a Professional Real Estate Virtual Assistant (PREVA), a member of several related associations as well as the co-founder of the Canadian Virtual Assistant Connection ( www.cvac.ca <http://www.cvac.ca/> ).

Janice Byer, is the owner of Docu-Type Administrative & Web Design Services (www.docutype.net) which she started in September of 1998. Docu-Type provides clients with both administrative and web assistance and is a recognized name in the VA industry. Janice, as mentioned above, is a co-founder of the CVAC. She is a Certified Canadian Virtual Assistant, certified Master Virtual Assistant and is also the winner of several prestigious awards. She offers her assistance to new VAs by mentoring and volunteering her time with individuals and various organizations, including her recent position as Chair of the First Annual International Virtual Assistants Day through the OIVAC. She offers resources on her website to assist both VAs and other small business professionals to get a jump on being entrepreneurs, including a Business Building Ebook Library.
